Women Voice and Girls for Gender Equality

The project is centered in feminist and rights based approaches to development. . The activities support WROs to address social norms and gendered power dynamics.

Measuring the impact of feminist programs can be difficult considering the nature of their interventions, the time and resources involved to conduct rigorous monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) and the varying levels of capacity of WROs. WVL Kenya acknowledges the complexity of organisational development and social transformation, specifically the transformation of unequal gender power relations which involves changes which may not be linear and are not easily measurable. Given this, the WVL Kenya MEAL system is geared to describe change pathways and to narrate how negative, positive or unexpected results came about.
